The CLSS is a somatic conditioning program designed to increase the body’s potential through accessing and stregnthening inherent neuro-muscular pathways in the body with a somatic approach. This system will stregnthen and tone the  body, while facilitating a learning environment to increase potential and performance. Longitudinally, use of CLSS overtime will reduce the occurance of overuse injuries. Click here  for more information on CLSS.

Helen has several blog topics

Doctor Dance – an advice forum for dancers regarding injury and conditioning and the tips towards healing.

Ethnography and Dance – an ethnographic look at dances from all over the world.

Irish Dance – a broad spectrum from Helen’s ASU thesis research developing the CLSS conditioning program, to experiences in Irish Dance, to examinations into ceili dancing in competition and social settings.

Rehabilitation Study – follows Helen’s recovery and self-rediscovery process following a traumatic accident. This incident set the foundation for the research that eventually became CLSS.
